2012 Spring Teams

For the spring and summer of 2012 we are attempting to field five (5) elite AAU teams at Urban Stars Basketball.  These teams will be an addition to the spring and summer compliment that currently have in our program for developmental basketball.  The Developmental teams currently play the MYAS spring and summer circuit.  The Urban Stars Elite team will play in 2-3 MYAS tournaments, all the local AAU sanctioned events, and 3-4 NCAA Certified events (these involving the 14U, 15U, and 16U teams).

Participants playing at the Elite status are players who desire to play basketball at the highest level, now and beyond.  These teams are typicallly selected via recruitment by the Urban Stars Coaching staff of these teams through scouting during the Minnesota High School Basketball season.  If your daughter is not currently playing for a local Elite Team - North Tartan, Metro Stars, MN Suns, MN Stars, etc. - please feel free to contact Coach Tylor Coley at 612-251-4815.  We will make it a point to get out to one of your player's games before season's end to evaluate and consult with you on the possibilites of your player joining the up and coming URBAN STARS BASKETBALL CLUB.
