We are now going with Two 14U/8th grade teams & One 13U/7th grade teams: tchoops coley (12 players) - 14U/8th grade tchoops wilson (11 players) - 14U/8th grade tchoops bishop (8 players) - 13U/7th grade - tentative summer 2010
With the varying conflicts that will arise with several young ladies this spring theses roster numbers make sense. As coaches, we are experienced in managing 12 players rosters during game time making sure everyone gets good, quality playing time. We will be playing against top level competition this spring but our goal, at this point in time, not to only play our top 5 all game. The goal this spring is to give each player an opportunity see what these All-Star teams look like and give them a chance play against that level of competition and read, recognize, & react to the nature of intensity they will be facing at the next level of play.
Ultimately, by the time this group of young ladies are seniors you will be one the elite basketball clubs at your age level in the state and in the nation. Expectations are high - this will be our first AAU State Qualifier & Championships participation. Doing well in these events gets you invited to National events and that would be the direction in which we wish to head.
